Damascus Road

Josiah Queen will release *Damascus Road*, a 14-track gospel album, on 23 October 2026. The project places Queen’s own name at the centre of the release, with two guest appearances from ZVC and Aodhán King, plus a collaboration with Chelsea Plank.

The album’s tracklist suggests a project grounded in explicitly Christian themes, moving between personal struggle, worship and declarations of faith. Songs such as “out of breath”, “demons” and “judas” sit alongside more devotional titles including “when I see You”, “only God Almighty” and “a day with the Lord”. The closing track, “Jesus is coming back soon”, gives the album a clearly faith-forward final statement.

At 14 songs, *Damascus Road* is substantial without being unwieldy. Its title track arrives at number seven, marking the album’s centre, while “amazing!” and “make heaven crowded” point towards a more openly celebratory side of Queen’s gospel writing. “galaxies” and “paradise” add further imagery to a tracklist that balances intimate language with large spiritual themes.

The collaborations are spread across the latter half of the album. ZVC appears on “fire in my soul”, Aodhán King joins “only God Almighty”, and Chelsea Plank features on “a day with the Lord”. Their placement creates a late-album run of shared voices before Queen closes the project alone.

With its combination of personal-sounding titles, worship songs and direct statements of belief, *Damascus Road* presents itself as a focused gospel release rather than a genre-neutral pop project. For listeners looking for contemporary Christian music with a full-length scope and a clearly defined spiritual centre, the album is one to note ahead of its October 2026 release.
