Every Note In Nostalgia

MuelDeep SA’s *Every Note In Nostalgia* is a 20-track deep house album built around a clear and repeated idea: looking back through sound. Released on 1 February 2026, the project presents every track as a “Nostalgic Mix”, making nostalgia less a passing mood than the album’s central framing device.

The album is notably expansive, but its structure is consistent. Each song features The Godfathers Of Deep House Sa, T'TimeZer011, Kamogelo Sam Mhlanga, Lucky Mojapelo and Masia Mashapa, giving the project a strong collaborative identity from beginning to end. Rather than switching between different guest combinations, MuelDeep SA establishes one recurring creative ensemble across the full tracklist.

The titles suggest a project moving between personal reflection, relationships and music itself. “What Should I Do”, “Keep Dreamig” and “I Hope we're Still Together” point towards uncertainty and emotional attachment, while “Our Dance”, “Hearts In Sync” and “Dancing with My father” introduce more intimate, memory-driven images. Other titles focus directly on the physical and spiritual experience of sound: “Breathe The Beat”, “My Inner Rhythm”, “The Souls Shelter”, “Zen in Bass” and “Six Strings Of Nostalgia”.

That balance gives *Every Note In Nostalgia* its most distinctive feature. The album’s idea of nostalgia is not limited to one story or subject; it is connected to movement, connection, family, inner life and the act of listening. Even the more abstract selections—“Hydrogen”, “Keys And All”, “The Ordin Sounds” and “Immune To Silence”—sit alongside plainly emotional titles such as “Confused” and “No Where To Be Found”.

At 20 tracks, this is a substantial listen for deep house audiences who prefer a full-length journey over a short release. The repeated “Nostalgic Mix” label and consistent guest lineup suggest a deliberate sense of continuity, while the varied track names create different entry points into the album’s reflective world.

For listeners drawn to South African deep house with a strong emphasis on atmosphere, collaboration and memory, *Every Note In Nostalgia* offers a clearly defined project: a long-form album that treats every track as another part of the same nostalgic soundscape.
