USHUKELA (Disc B)

Djknator is set to release *USHUKELA (Disc B)*, a 10-track Gqom album arriving on 5 November 2026. The project follows a clearly collaborative approach, bringing together established and emerging names from the South African dance scene while keeping Djknator at the centre of the release.

The album opens with “Mind Controller”, featuring SpacePose, before moving through a sequence of tracks that balance guest appearances with solo Djknator cuts. “AutoForm” includes TIS RSA, while “Ngena!” brings in Que Dj and Skillz. Later, “Final Destination” features Durban Gqom heavyweight DJ Lag, and “KFC” includes Assiye Bongzin.

One of the project’s most notable collaborations is “Bathi Igqom”, which features Babes Wodumo. Her appearance places the album in direct conversation with Gqom’s broader vocal and performance tradition, while the track’s title signals an explicit connection to the genre itself.

The guest list gives *USHUKELA (Disc B)* much of its identity, but the album is not built entirely around features. “Ethawini”, “Hawema”, “Speed Limit” and “Umsindo” are credited solely to Djknator, creating space for his own production and artistic direction within the project’s wider network of collaborators.

With ten tracks and a mix of featured and solo cuts, *USHUKELA (Disc B)* presents Djknator’s take on contemporary Gqom through a compact, collaboration-led album. It will be released in 2026, offering listeners a project that connects Djknator’s own sound with a range of voices from South Africa’s club-focused music landscape.
