Jayjayy returns with “Phesheya,” an Amapiano collaboration featuring Mordecai. The track forms part of the project Detour, adding another entry to Jayjayy’s 2026 catalogue with a sound built around the genre’s distinctive rhythmic character and collaborative energy.

Released on 13 February 2026, “Phesheya” brings Jayjayy and Mordecai together in a focused performance that places the song within the modern Amapiano space. Their pairing gives the release a clear collaborative identity, while the track’s inclusion on Detour connects it to the wider direction of the project.

As a song from Detour, “Phesheya” offers listeners an opportunity to experience Jayjayy’s work in the context of a complete project rather than as an isolated release. The collaboration with Mordecai adds further dimension to the track, making it a notable part of the project’s song selection.

The release also reflects the continuing presence of Amapiano in contemporary music, with Jayjayy and Mordecai using the genre as the foundation for their collaboration. “Phesheya” keeps the focus on the combined performance, the song’s rhythmic identity and the role it plays within Detour.

Listeners can find “Phesheya” as part of Detour, released in 2026. With Jayjayy leading the release and Mordecai joining as the featured artist, the track presents a concise Amapiano collaboration that adds to the project’s overall musical offering.
