South African artist Umnotho teams up with Mjabulisi Zondi and Mnotho for “Ishumi Leminyaka,” a collaboration built around a powerful isiZulu title that reflects the passage of time, memories, commitment, and the experiences that can unfold over many years.

The phrase “Ishumi Leminyaka” translates to “ten years.” A decade is a significant period in anyone's life, giving the title an immediate sense of history and reflection. Ten years can bring major changes in relationships, careers, families, friendships, and personal circumstances.
