Ukushiwa Abazali

Amaciko The Artists Announce *Ukushiwa Abazali*, a Maskandi Single Project. Amaciko The Artists will release *Ukushiwa Abazali* on 5 November 2026, presenting a three-track Maskandi project built around a title that points directly to the experience of losing one’s parents.

Although classified as a single, the release includes three songs: “Yena ungowami”, “Sekukaningi Sikhala” and “Ukushiywa Abazali”. That structure gives the project a broader shape than a conventional one-track release, while keeping the focus on Amaciko The Artists’ own material.

The title track, “Ukushiywa Abazali”, appears to serve as the project’s centrepiece, with the other two songs completing the release. “Yena ungowami” and “Sekukaningi Sikhala” suggest a set that may move between personal reflection and emotional expression, although no further song-by-song themes have been supplied.

What makes the release worth noting is its directness. *Ukushiwa Abazali* is framed around a deeply significant subject, and its Maskandi setting places that subject within a South African musical tradition known for storytelling and lyrical emphasis. With three tracks rather than a standard standalone single, the project offers listeners a compact introduction to Amaciko The Artists and their approach.

*Ukushiwa Abazali* is due on 5 November 2026.
