Siya Ntuli is a South African singer and songwriter known for blending Afro-pop, Maskandi and traditional Zulu musical influences with contemporary sounds. He hails from Mtubatuba in northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. In a 2025 interview, Ntuli said he grew up listening to traditional styles such as Maskandi, isicathamiya and mbaqanga, influences that have helped shape his musical identity. He was reported to be 31 years old in June 2025.

Siya Ntuli’s Music Career

Siya Ntuli gained wider recognition through his association with Inkabi Nation, appearing alongside artists including Big Zulu, Mduduzi Ncube, Lwah Ndlunkulu and Xowla. His collaborations helped introduce his voice to a broader South African audience. Among his notable appearances are Lwah Ndlunkulu’s “Ithuba,” Blaq Diamond’s “Qoma,” and Inkabi Nation songs including “Abantu,” “Impendulo” and “Shuni Wenkabi.”

His solo catalogue includes “Zyoshelwa” featuring Big Zulu, “Ama Out” featuring Xowla and Big Zulu, “Umbuzo Wodwa” featuring Makhadzi Entertainment, and “Amaphiko” featuring Big Zulu. In 2025, Siya Ntuli released Imbiza, a project built around his combination of Afro-pop and Maskandi influences. The title Imbiza refers to traditional medicine in isiZulu and reflects the project’s connection to culture and heritage.

Siya Ntuli continued releasing new music in 2026, including “Amaphiko,” “eDolobheni,” “Uzolala La” and “Impilo Yam” featuring Khuzani. “Impilo Yam” brings together Ntuli’s contemporary approach and Khuzani’s established Maskandi style, with themes centred on life’s struggles, resilience and Zulu cultural identity.
