About Album

South African Amapiano producer Loxion Deep, whose real name is Simphiwe Ncube, has released his 2026 studio album My Father's Records, a deeply personal project inspired by his father's vinyl collection and the musical influences that shaped his upbringing. Released on October 2, 2026, through Content Connect Africa, the album features 15 tracks with a total running time of two hours, two minutes, and forty-four seconds. The collection explores the connection between family heritage and contemporary South African electronic music, incorporating soulful Amapiano, jazz, and deep house influences. Following earlier projects such as The Book of Amapiano and Legend (Deluxe Edition), the release adds another substantial chapter to the producer's recording career.

My Father's Records brings together an extensive lineup of collaborators, including DJ Stokie, Gaba Cannal, Sol Phenduka, Zoolu, KandyBeats, Bandros, TP Bass, Double Gee, SoulPk, and Blissful Sax. The album opens with Wida, followed by Izitha, before introducing Amapholas (Soweto Vibe), a collaboration with DJ Stokie selected as the project's focus track. Other notable recordings include Ngiphendule, Space & Time, Calm The Storm, Smoke & Satin, Inkumbulo, and Sweet Dreams 2.0. The latter part of the collection features Things Fall Apart, Jazzimania, Brazil In Africa (AfriJazzo Mix), Jazzenco 2.0, and the closing selection Sunday Sounds. These compositions create an expansive listening experience reflecting Loxion Deep's interest in extended musical arrangements and diverse artistic partnerships.

The release of Loxion Deep – My Father's Records Album highlights the producer's continuing contribution to South Africa's evolving Amapiano landscape. Beyond its collaborative lineup, the project explores how musical memories can influence contemporary creativity, connecting the records of earlier generations with modern production techniques. Its Soweto-inspired focus track also reinforces the cultural connection between township communities and the development of South African dance music. Listeners searching for the complete My Father's Records album, new Loxion Deep songs, or soulful Amapiano releases can explore the project through authorized streaming platforms and digital music stores. With more than two hours of music, the album offers an extensive collection for audiences interested in jazz-influenced electronic sounds and contemporary African dance productions.
